AMSEC/SAIC - AMSEC LLC was formed in June 1999 as a business partnership between Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS). Prior to the creation of the LLC, AMSEC had been a wholly owned subsidiary of SAIC since 1987 and has been in existence since 1981.
